Why we need to study more to improve our amal?

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone !!

Today is my group turn to present our task. We choose an appealing topic for our poster and presentation. The topic is mentioned in the title: "Why we need to study more to improve our amal?". Here I show you our poster that designed by me 😁. But the contains are given by my group members. So basically we are doing this poster together!

I am going to elaborate more on the points stated in our poster. First of all, we look at the Surah Al-Israk verse 36. This verse means that we need to have knowledge when doing something. When we want to improve our amal, knowledge is very crucial to make sure what we are doing especially in worship Allah is accepted. We don't want to do anything in vain.

Why we need to study more to improve our amal?

• For our self-improvement: When we are aiming in improving our amal, without our intention, we improve ourselves too! It is because we begin the first step to improve our relationship with Allah, and He will surely come closer to us. We need to study to make sure we improve ourselves right.
• To help on upgrade our amal: As Muslim, we are aiming to have Allah's eyes on us. We want Allah to see what we do to worship Him. Because of that, we need to upgrade our current amal time by time by study more with what we are doing.
• Because we need to be grateful for the grace of Allah: One of the greatest blessings bestowed on human beings is the blessing of the intellect to learn and understand knowledge. With study, we can show our gratitude by doing our amal in the best state. 

Hikmah when we study more to improve our amal:-

• Increase devoutness in worship: By understand the meaning of the surah or recitation in the prayer, learn the sunnah, pillars of prayer and many more. Our worship to Allah will be more meaningful and sincere. 
• We learned values of akhlaq, adab and qualities of a Muslim character by study: Our amal being improved along with our akhlaq like truthfulness, trustworthiness, conveying and wise and intelligent. Also, we are more disciplined and have respect, love and loyalty. Be a Muslim character that follows the example of the Prophet Muhammad SAW like sunnah.
• Feel motivated to increase our ibadah: Because we know Allah will reward us with what we are doing and we know Allah create us to worship Him.
